"We just didn't know what to do. I was in shock at first, and then cried it out for a while. It was pretty hard," said Lindsey. "Last week it was 70 degrees. We thought it would be okay if it was warm. Or rainy or cloudy, but never an ice storm," said Mary. Their wedding planner, Kat Gaines, jumped into action. Before they knew it, another venue right down the street from the First Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, where the wedding will be, stepped up to host. "It's amazing to see the St. Louis community come together and get behind the wedding," said Gaines. The owner of Sunset 44 told News 4 he was happy to help the young couple.
